THANK YOU LARRY
Many visitors to Exuma Park will recall the friendly and helpful service provided by Larry Dougan. Following many years of service as both a volunteer and as Acting Warden he has returned to California. Larry will be missed by many visitors.
NEW PATROL BOAT
With the help from several generous contributors, the Park has put into service a new patrol and search and rescue vessel. The boat, a twin engine Contender is considerably larger than the rest of the Park Fleet and has greatly increased the Staff's ability to safely patrol and respond to emergencies in inclement weather and well offshore. Many thanks to the donors that made this great addition to the park fleet happen!
TIKI HUT AT WARDERWICK WELLS
The whale beach near Park headquarters has gotten even better with the addition of a Tiki Hut constructed by a variety of volunteers. Using donated materials and left over building materials from other projects, the dedicated volunteers created a unique new space that quickly has become both the center of Saturday night happy hours, and a place to escape the sun on those hot sumnmer days. Thanks to eveyone that made this project a reality!
